Facility planning/construction
We are planning and building indoor recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) worldwide. Systems are built according to your personal specifications, location, and desired fish species. It is important to us that we accompany you during the whole process – from the planning through the construction, until the farm is running successfully. Due to our advanced RAS technology, running our farms is easy and efficient. Our self-developed system of state-of-the-art monitoring and control technology results in maximum production security. The energy and water demand are reduced to a minimum. The construction method allows for a salt or fresh water facility.

RAS COMPONENTS
Recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS) facilities generally consist of the following components:
- Tanks
- Mechanical filtration
- Biological filtration
- Pumps
- Oxygen mixer
- Sensor system with alerts
- Denitrification
- UV filtration
PROJECT FLOW
We accompany our customer during the whole process – from the planning to the construction until the successful running of the farm.
- Creation of a feasibility study
- Design offer according to order
- Pay planning fee
- Gather all permits
- First payment for cost of components
- Deliver material
- Finalization of construction
- Begin Biofilter culture
- Introduce first batch of stocking fish
- Service and support
SYSTEM
Due to advanced RAS technology the operation of our fish farms is easy and efficient. The system centrally measures, controls and adjusts all parameters relevant to the fish technology and building services engineering. The stocking management is integrated as well. In case of deviation from a target value an alert is sent to a multimedia device.
The self-developed system ensures maximum production security, low running costs and reduces the energy and water demand to a minimum.
«Our self-developed system is unique it it’s kind. All important parameters
of the fish farm are centrally measured, monitored and controlled!»
FISH SPECIES
Our facilities are especially suitable for the cultivation of demanding regional fish species, which have high regional market value. We deliberately differentiate ourselves from the rearing of mass market fish.
Each species has its own specific needs. Our systems take this into account.
- Perch
- Pike Perch
- Whitefish
- European Catfish
- Sturgeon
- Salmon
Tilapia
ENERGY AND WATER EFFICIENCY
We plan and build sustainable fish farms with a low energy and water demand. The daily fresh water supply is around 5% of the total volume. Due to one single power unit (recirculation pump), a patented biological filtration system, and our self-developed control system the energy demand is reduced to a minimum.
Accumulated nutrients can be used to run an aquaponic system or for a small biogas heating system.
«Sustainable, environmentally-conscious fish farming is our passion!»
AQUAPONICS
Aquaponics is a system which combines fish production through aquaculture with the cultivation of useful plants through hydroculture. Excrement from the fish is utilized as a nutritive substance for the plants.
- Nutrient-rich water from fish farms is an optimal fertilizer for plants
- Fresh fish without genetic modification, antibiotics or pesticides
- Regional and sustainable
- Water is utilized twice – for fish and plants
We install the following versions:
Fish: e.g. perch, catfish, barramundi, tilapia, large-mouth bass, carp
Plants: e.g. salad, tomato, cucumber, strawberries, herbs, paprik
«Fresh fish and faster growing vegetables. Urban farming at its best!»
